Effective Date: September 3, 2025
ClipStack is fundamentally an offline application. This means your data lives on your device and on your device alone. We do not have servers to collect, store, or process your personal information. Your privacy is in your hands.
To be unequivocally clear, we do not collect, transmit, or have access to any personally identifiable information (PII). This includes, but is not limited to:
All content you create and manage within ClipStack is stored in a local database on your device. This includes:
This data is for your use only. We cannot see it, access it, or use it.
The security of your data is directly tied to the security of your device. We encourage you to use your device's security features, such as screen locks and biometric authentication.
The "Backup & Restore" feature allows you to export your data to a file. The security, storage, and transmission of this backup file are your sole responsibility.
We request a minimum number of permissions to ensure functionality. This permission is optional and only required if you choose to use the feature associated with it.
This permission is essential and used exclusively for the "Floating Menu" feature. It allows ClipStack to display a convenient floating icon over other applications for quick access. If you do not grant this permission, only the Floating Menu feature will be unavailable; the rest of the app will function perfectly. This permission is not used to monitor your activity, collect data from other apps, or for any other purpose.
Our Application, within the Settings screen, may contain links to external websites and services that are not operated by us (e.g., Google Play Store and Facebook). If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
ClipStack is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with information, please contact us so that we can take necessary action.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
